The Third Aligned Tomb on Pag with a Special Portrait by Lovre Jakšić

On the island of Pag, we have completed the installation of another tomb crafted in our workshop — the third in a row on the same site, where now all three of our tombs stand side by side, forming a recognisable mark of our longstanding work on the island.
This new tomb carries a particularly emotional value, dedicated to a young person whose life ended far too soon, commemorated with a dignified and refined stone memorial.

The installation took place at the cemetery in Pag, under conditions that required precise logistical preparation due to the terrain, access points, and significant weight of the stone elements. Our team transported, positioned, and carefully levelled each slab of white Brač stone over several phases. The meticulous manual alignment of profiles and joints — especially on the headstone, inclined on all sides — was essential to achieving a clean and flawless finish.

A delicate detail enriches the headstone: a hand-carved stone rose placed on the right side. Subtle and refined, it adds an emotional accent to the entire memorial.

The central element of the tomb is the portrait of the young woman engraved into the vertical stone slab. The portrait was created by our sculptor Lovre Jakšić, in low relief, with a calm, gentle expression that brings a sense of dignity and warmth to the whole composition.

This project is another addition to our series of works on Pag, where in recent years a significant number of our tombs have been completed. We are especially grateful that local families continue to choose our craftsmanship — and that our workshop remains active throughout Croatia and abroad, preserving the tradition of stonemasonry and an individually tailored approach to every project.
