At the Jakšić stonemasonry workshop, two highly demanding and representative projects are currently underway, once again confirming the recognisable quality of our stone craftsmanship. These luxury residential properties, located on two different sites, each stand out for their architectural character and extensive stonework requirements.
The first project is a large luxury complex in Sućuraj on the island of Hvar, commissioned by a local investor. The development includes the construction of a main villa, a service house, a private helipad, and numerous additional facilities intended for high-end living. Our workshop is responsible for all stonework on the complex, including stone for the façade, stone staircases, stone paving for the courtyard, as well as stone elements for the interior. The scope of the project requires exceptional precision, detailed planning, and masterful execution, making it one of the most ambitious projects we are currently engaged in.
The second project takes place in Pučišća on the island of Brač, a location renowned for its stoneworking tradition. The villa under construction is particularly distinctive due to its combination of white Brač stone and dry-stone walls made of Benkovac stone, giving the property a strong visual identity and an authentic Mediterranean character. Our workshop is producing stone cladding for the façade, stone for the courtyard, stone elements for the interior, and many other custom details that ensure architectural harmony and refined aesthetics.
Both projects showcase the highest level of contemporary stone design, emphasising tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation in working with natural materials. We look forward to presenting the final results, which will once again demonstrate the full potential and beauty of Brač stone and Dalmatian stonework in luxury architecture.
